Tree Planting
Our goal is to plant 10,000 trees per year
We offer tree planting services with the bare root species we grow: Bur Oak, White Oak, Tamarack, and Speckled Alder. We also work with The Intervale Conservation Nursery to acquire bare root stock for Willow, Dogwood, and Box Alder.
Bare Root Seedlings Cost $2/ Seedling + cost of labor

Plant Maintenance
After a restoration planting has been completed the bare-root seedlings require watering, weeding, and mowing to help them thrive. Supporting the trees to become established among the grasses is critical for the success of the planting effort. We suggest mowing and weed-wacking services a couple times throughout the summer.

Riperian Restoration
Weathered Tree focuses on many aspects of riparian restoration. Strategic woody additions are the practice of felling live trees into river corridors to provide a variety of ecological benefits ranging from fisheries habitat to controlling water flow during flood events.
We like to combine this practice with planting of our native Oaks, Maples, or Tamaracks - ensuring we leave the forest with a new individual saplings ready to grow
